Better Things Records was a DIY Reggae label. It managed one single. By Jah Scouse (a.k.a. Ian Kay), a Liverpool toaster, who collaborated and toured Europe with Young Marble Giants. The band (and more precisely, brothers Stuart and Philip Moxham) backed him on Jah Scouse first release in 1984, Better Things, produced by Phil Legg (Essential Logic). The 7” contained two numbers, and notably Merge (backed with Vegan Mix, which also featured Charles Bullen (This Heat). It issued singles in BETS-0 numerical series.
