Independent label: Blue Beat Records was a record label started by Buster Bloodvessel of the Ska revival band Bad Manners. Buster licensed the name and logo of the original 1960's Ska label Blue Beat. The label released vinyl between 1989 and 1990 including many of the short lived 'Skacid' style records popular at the time. It managed at least five singles. It issued singles in BBSP-0 numerical series. Distributed By Blue Beat Records. Bad Manners was a ska and two-tone band from north London in 1976. led by Buster Bloodvessel (Douglas Trendle). Formed in 1976, stopped in 1987 and reformed since 1988.
