Mad Dog was Formed in Caerdydd, Wales Initially a punk band formed in 1977 under the name Screaming Abduls, by 1978 the band was named Mad Dog. During the '80s their sound developed into a heavy metal sound, and they are considered to be a NWOBHM band.
