Independent label: Chestnut Records was a label of Tim Wheatley's Chestnut Studios, of Churt, Surrey. Chestnut put out a handful of records from 1979 to1981, presumably acting as a custom recording agent rather than as a record company. Singles and LPs alike were numbered in the NUT-0s. It managed one single in the 80s. It issued singles in CHER-0 numerical series. Distributed By Stage One Records.
