Chew Records was a DIY label. It managed one single.
It issued singles in CH-9200 numerical series. Distributed By Chew
Records. Trixie’s Big Red Motorbike An Indie Pop
band formed in 1981 by brother and sister Mark and Melanie Litten. Their first
single, "Invisible Boyfriend", became a favourite of the influential British DJ
John Peel, and they recorded two sessions for his radio show. The five-track EP
Trixie's Big Red Motorbike followed, and their third single, "Norman and
Narcissus", was a minor indie chart hit in 1983. A compilation of their music,
The Intimate Sound of Trixie's Big Red Motorbike, was released by Accident
Records in 1995. The band originally disbanded in 1985 but reformed in 2012 with
a different lineup in order to play a handful of live shows. Another
compilation, All Day Long in Bliss, was self-released to accompany the reunion
tour.
