Independent label: The Dead Fly was a rehearsal/recording studio set-up in the early 80's in St Helens, Merseyside. Distributed By Dead Fly Records. Poisoned Electrick Head was a British Psychedelic Indie Rock outfit, formed in 1986 in St. Helens, Merseyside. Various members of the band had played separately in a number of punk bands in the late 1970s and early 1980s. Emerald Greenshade, Victor Davros Vibeskin, Phil ZaPeep, and 'Bone' played in Subversion circa 1979, whilst in 1982 Jefferson Jesu Devil, Katmandu, Victor Davros Vibeskin and Emerald Greenshade formed a band called The Aristocrats. At the same time, Tjunca B Low, Professor Bubblekeys and 'Flimb' formed the Academy Of Unrest and released their Sheol Hex / Rise Of Doubt / Hope 12".
