On The Air was a Simon Townshend fronted band, although the band came back in 1987 with new members. Members were Adrian York, Mark Brzezicki, Simon Townshend, Tony Butler. Steve Webb is a Welsh rock / jazz - singer - guitarist , who was inspired by the music after buying the first guitar from Malta in 1963. He has collaborated with, among other things Hasse Wallin with. He began his career in the Jess Roden Band in 1974 and ended his career in the band in 1978. After that, he joined the band Lion in 1980 . In 1986, Webb began his own solo career and collaborated with guitarist Hasse Wall.
