Dublin Street Carnival Records was an Irish DIY label. It managed one single. An RTE Radio 2/Hot Press co-release, actually given a Mystery Records (WEA) catalogue number. Formed in 1985 by Clive Hudson It issued singles in Mystery Records MRS-000 numerical series. As part of the 1986 Dublin Street Carnival (June 21st / 22nd), Radio 2 and Hot Press are hosting an all-day open-air free rock gig at St. Patrick's Park in Dublin's Liberties. This special 4-track single features tracks from four of the bands scheduled to play on that bill. All tracks are produced by Ian Wilson and are taken from the regular recordings for Dave Fanning's Radio 2 Show, and used by arrangement with RTE.

It was Martin McCann and the brothers David and Pat Morrissey. They were only active from 1985-1986 and never had a full release. Flex And The Fastweather / Whatever Happens To Girls Like Alice. Originally from Cork but later Dublin based, Synthpop band fronted by Paul Tiernan and Mandy Murphy. A House / What A Nice Evening To Take The Girls Up The Mountains. A House were an Irish rock band that was active in Dublin from the 1985 to 1997, Formed in Dublin in 1985 by former members of the band Last Chance, vocalist Dave Couse, guitarist Fergal Bunbury, Drummer Dermot Wylie were joined by bassist Martin Healy (who had all been schoolfriends at Templeogue College), came together as A House. The Golden Horde / Teenage Head. The Golden Horde were an Irish punk, neo-psychedelic, garage rock band based in Dublin, Ireland. They formed in 1982 and disbanded in 1994. Simon Carmody, John Connor, Des O'Byrne, Peter O'Kennedy & Sam Steiger, are the most renowned line-up of the band, although the first live performance featured thirteen band members on stage.
