Independent label: E.D.M Champagne Records was a Sub label of Champagne Records label run by long time servant to the music business Dave McAleer. Dave had a relentless ability to quickly pick up for release on Champagne, tracks that had just been released either on small UK independent labels or the hot imports of the day that were either in demand, or likely to be. Some older, still sought after material, also featured on the label. Another division of Champagne existed, this being "E.D.M Champagne" which targeted interesting alternative synth pop/futurist acts. The initials may have been a reference to it's material, Electronic Dance Music. It managed three singles. It issued singles in BUBL-700 numerical series. Distributed By CBS Records.
