Independent label: Earache Records The Nottingham label was founded in 1986 by hardcore punk fan Digby Pearson who admired the power US crossover bands as DRI and Gang Green . Impressed by the young Napalm Death - at the time more a punk band than a metal outfit - Pearson signed them. This was followed by the recruitment of the utterly brutal death metal band Morbid Angel It issued singles in 7 MOSH and MOSH-000 numerical series. Distributed By Revolver (1987), Vital (1995) and Norman Records.
