FIREBOMB RADIO ONE
RECORDS
Independent Diy label: Firebomb Radio One
Records was set up in 1989 and began by releasing a vinyl 7-inch by the
indie-guitar band Greenhouse. Greenhouse released a second single on the label
before signing to Native Records, The label was revived as Firebomb Radio
Records (hey, why discriminate) in 1995 to release two singles by John Peel
favourites Fuzzbird before they decamped to Mook Records. Mook released their
debut album 'Welcome to Santa's Sex Shop' before Fuzzbird returned to FR to
release the 'Moi' EP, and the 'Pulling the Wings Off Small Boys' album in 1999,
The label is now home to Whole Sky Monitor who released their 'We Grow Up'
EP & debut album 'Just Let Me Talk To Her' in 2005. The single 'Harehills
Chapeltown' came out in June '07 & enjoyed radio play across Europe before
their album 'Bland Bland Bland' was released in partnership with AAZ records at
the end of 2007. Former Address 17B Hamilton Avenue Leeds West Yorkshire L.S.7
