 Independent label: Groove Production was a British disco/funk label founded by Groove Records shop owner Chris Palmer in 1980. Groove Production Former Address: Greek Street Soho London W1. Distributed By EMI Records. The Evasions was a 1981 Funk/Disco Novelty featuring Graham De Wilde. With and studio engineer Adrian Sear Graham. The song  Wikka Wrap was a  parody of UK broadcaster Alan Whicker and used the tune of Tom Browne's "Funkin For Jamaica." It was the brainchild of library music composer Graham de Wilde, who wrote the original theme to Whicker's World. He set up a studio group to record the song, which also contained engineer, and producer Adrian Sear. The song not only reached the UK Top 20, but it also entered the US soul charts.
