Distributed By IDS and Cartel. The Meteors are an English psychobilly band formed in 1980. Originally from London, they are often credited with giving the psychobilly subgenre, which fuses punk rock with rockabilly its distinctive sound and style. The Meteors were formed in 1980 by P. Paul Fenech (guitar and vocals), Nigel Lewis (upright bass/electric bass and vocals), and Mark Robertson (drums).[7] Fenech and Lewis had played in rockabilly bands before. The Defects are a punk rock band from Belfast, Northern Ireland, formed in 1978. The band formed in 1978 with a lineup of Ian "Buck" Murdock (vocals), Marcus "Dukie" Duke (guitar), Jeff Gilmore (bass) and Glenn Kingsmore (drums). The Beast was an Early 1980s death rock/goth band from San Francisco. They released 3 singles and toured the East Coast and England. The band split, with some members moving to England and forming The Veil. The Guana Batz was a psychobilly band formed in 1983 in Feltham, Middlesex. Regularly performed at London's Klub Foot. Frenzy are a 3 piece band, formed in the August of 1983, during the successful revival of the Rock-a-Billy music scene around that time. Steve Whitehouse, the founder member of the group, had already found success with his previous two outifts. Line-up: Steve Whitehouse: Vocals and Upright Bass. Steve Eaton: Guitars.
