IF Records was a DIY label Formed by Ipso Facto. "IF" stands for "Ipso Facto", from the band of the same name. It managed one single. It issued singles in an IF-000 numerical series. Ipso Facto Was an esoteric gothic band from the UK in the 1980s. Ipso Facto formed in 1982 and gigged mainly around Sheffield and the North. They were a fairly short lived affair circulating through line-up changes around frontman Eb and releasing ‘Noir Doir’, ‘Mannequin’ Distributed By IF Records Former Address 109 Regent Court, Bradfield Road, Sheffield.
