Independent label: Jive Alive Records managed two singles. It issued singles in an JA-000 numerical series. Distributed By Jungle. The Rain were from Basingstoke, formed in the Late 80’s was a jangle beat pop band. member were Clive Stubbings (Guitar & Vocals) was the main man. Writing virtually all their recorded material. Stubbings was ably assisted by Tony Duckworth on Bass and Vocals and Chris Morrell on Drums. They changed their name to Clark Springs, after a legal wrangle with another band also called The Rain.
