Mistral Records was a DIY Rockabilly label: It managed one single. It issued singles in BLOW-0 numerical series. Levi Dexter was born January 28th, 1957, in London, England. Being a native of London and nearby Southend, Levi grew up hearing the roots of rock 'n' roll in the Teddyboy pubs. On a strict diet or 50's Rock 'n' Roll Oldies, Levi was very influenced by Elvis Presley, Gene Vincent and Eddie Cochran, and lists Bill Haley and his Comets as his favorite band. In the 80's, after Levi & the Rockats broke up, Levi auditions Brian Setzer of the Straycats for his new band "Levi Dexter & the Rip-Chords". Levi Dexter (voc), Danny B.
