label Founded by Gordian Troeller, the former manager of Peter Hammill's band
Van der Graaf Generator. Naive Records was managed eight singles. It
issued singles in NAV-0 numerical series. Distributed By Spartan. Julia Downes
is a songwriter, musician and producer whose songs have appeared on albums by
Roger Daltrey, Meat Loaf, Sheena Easton, John Parr, Saga, and Michael
Ball. In 1983 she released the album Let Sleeping Dogs Lie, which includes
her own version of her song "Don't Talk to Strangers", later recorded by Roger
Daltrey. She produced Annabella Lwin's 1986 album Fever and played keyboards on
Stephan Eicher's 1998 album Silence. Peter Hammill Real Name: Peter Joseph
Andrew Hammill. A musician and recording artist, singer/songwriter, guitarist
pianist and producer, born on Bonfire Night, 5 November 1948, in Ealing, west
London, UK. Co-founder of British progressive rock band Van Der Graaf Generator.
Electric Guitars were an English band formed early in 1980 by Neil Davenport
(vocals, lyrics) and Richard Hall (bass, vocals) who were both studying English
at Bristol University. The band soon increased to a five-man line-up, with Andy
Sanders (guitar, vocals), Matt Salt (drums) and Dick Truscott (keyboards), they
also later added two backing singers: Sarah and Wendy Patridge. Their first
single "Health" / "Continental Shelf" was released on local label Fried Egg
Records in 1980.
