Palace Records was a DIY label with links to Stiff Records. It managed one White Promo single. It issued singles in PALACE-0 numerical series. Steve Strange (born Steven John Harrington, 28 May 1959), is a Welsh pop singer, best known as the lead singer and frontman of the 1980s pop group Visage. Since the late 1970s he has also been a prominent nightclub host and promoter. In the Year 2525 was recorded by Midge Ure: instruments, Rusty Egan: percussion, Steve Strange: vocals. An extremely rare promo single. The cover is white, name and title is printed in yellow. They recorded three tracks using studio time left over from 'Rich Kids': 'In the Year 2525' was due for release in 1983 but the single was withdrawn, Distributed By Stiff / Palace Records.
