Pesda Roc Records was an
Independent Welsh label. It managed two singles. It issued singles in
PESDAROC-000 numerical series. Distributed By Pesda Roc Records. Chwarter I Un
was a Welsh-language group Quarter to One or 12:45 which was originally formed
for the Inter-College Eisteddfod in Bangor in 1979. Competing under the MAC
name, the rock song competition was won with "KO yn y Fro". The performance of
the performances was the main feature of the early days. In the first prize of
the Screch magazine, he won Quarter to One for the "Promising Group 1979".
Gradually, over the years there has been considerable change in style and
membership.The original members were Tim Hartley - Voice, White 'Scrots'
Elfyn-Llais, Gron Edwards - Gitār Flaen, Dafydd Rhys- Gitār, Trumpet, Dominic
Griffiths-Bās, Geraint 'Tonto' Jones - Drums. Owen Owens and Rhys Powys also
drummed the band during college time.
