PINK LABEL
RECORDS
Independent label: The Pink Label
was a short-lived UK indie label founded by early Creation
Records associate Simon Down, initially in order to ensure a release for the
debut recordings of London band The June Brides. In existence for three years,
it released a string of singles and three LPs by a small clutch of English
indie-pop acts before its financial collapse in 1987. Distributed By
Rough Trade and Cartel.
