Plugpop Records was a DIY label. It
managed one single. It issued singles in POP-0 numerical
series. A slice of pop ska punk from Summer 1980 recorded at the infamous
Crypt recording studio in Broadwater Stevenage. Distributed By Plugpop Records.
The Plugs were Formed in Ware, Hertfordshire. Band Members were Martin Payne
(vocals, tin whistle), Peter Franklin (guitar, backing vocals), Gerry King
(bass, backing vocals), Colin Poppleton (timbales, cowbell, backing vocals),
Roger Smellie (trumpet), Peter Davidson (saxophone) George Thurgill (drums,
backing vocals).
