Powerstation Records was an
Independent label. It managed twelve singles. It issued
singles in OHM-0 numerical series. Tokyo Blade is an English
heavy metal band, active since 1982. Tokyo Blade is one of the many acts
considered part of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal (NWOBHM) movement from
the late 1970s / early 1980s. Tokyo Blade went through many changes of formation
and disbanded twice, often changing their musical style during the years of
activity. However, the band is still active today, with three of the original
members in the line-up. Distributed By Powerstation Records. Alexander James
Harvey (Born in the Kinning Park district of Glasgow 5 February 1935 Died from
heart failure, a day before his 47th birthday. 4 February 1982) was a Scottish
rock and blues musician. Although his career spanned almost three decades, he is
best remembered as the frontman of the Sensational Alex Harvey Band, with whom
he built a reputation as an exciting live performer during the era of glam rock
in the 1970s. Chrome Molly are an English hard rock band from Leicester. The
band formed in 1982, and after an early demo settled on a line-up of singer
Steve Hawkins, guitarist John Antcliffe, bass guitarist Nic Wastell and drummer
Chris Green. Mark Godfrey (Drums) , releasing four albums before splitting up in
1991. They re-formed in 2009. Maineeaxe were formerly known as Trans-Am, before
they decided to jump on the deliberately mis-spelled NWoBHM bandwagon. Trans-Am
were formed in early 1981 from an amalgamation of York bands. The initial
line-up comprised Andy Neal (Vocals), Chris Percival (Lead Guitar) Lol Ruderham
(Rhythm Guitar) IJ Greensmith (Bass) and Doc Simpson (Drums).
