Independent label. A mid-price label of the record company Premier Records
Ltd. Ron Winter was the managing director Mostly active in 1980s.. Ray "Eye
Patch" Sawyer (born February 1, 1937, Chickasaw, Alabama, United States) is a
singer best known as a vocalist with the 1970s rock band, Dr. Hook & The
Medicine Show. Though primarily a backing vocalist & occasionist
percussionist on congas, he sang lead on the song Cover of the Rolling Stone and
was an iconic presence in the band due to the eyepatch & cowboy hat he wore.
Sawyer lost his right eye in a 1967 automobile accident that left him with his
signature eyepatch. Billie Jo Spears (Born Billie Joe Moore; Beaumont,
Texas, USA January 14, 1938 she died of cancer in Vidor, Texas, USA December 14,
2011) was an American country music singer. She reached the top 10 of the
country music chart five times between 1969 and 1977, her biggest being "Blanket
on the Ground", a 1975 number-one hit. She also had a large following in the
United Kingdom with two of her singles reaching the pop top ten. Distributed By
