Puddisc Records was a DIY label. It
managed one single. An Srt Custom Pressing. Recorded at Outlaw Studios
Birmingham. It issued singles in SRT-1500 numerical series. Distributed By
Rough Trade Records. The Clerks was a pop punk / power pop band formed in 1977
in Birmingham by songwriters Paul Day (guitar) and Martin Poole (bass) with Gaz
Cole on vocals and Vince Evans on drums. When the band moved to London in 1979
the line up changed to Paul Day (lead vocals & lead guitar), Martin Poole
(bass & vocals), Martin Booth (lead vocals & rhythm guitar), and Paul
Cuthbert (drums). This line up disbanded in November 1980. after their demise a
limited-edition EP called Dancing With My Girl with three of the four 1980
studio recordings was released. This EP is now a collector's item and changes
hands for up to £50 in mint condition
