R'N'R
RECORDS
R'N'R Records was a DIY label. It
managed one single. It issued singles in RNR-000 numerical
series. Distributed By TS Records. The Dooleys were dropped by Epic Records. So
the Dooleys set up their own label, R 'n' R Records, and recorded the In Car
Stereo album with a new female vocalist, Vicki Roe. The first single released
was "Flavour of the Month" which failed to chart in the UK and forced them to
shelve the album. The single did get a release in Japan, however, where the
group had enjoyed two earlier No.1 singles, along with the release of the title
track as a single. Neither charted in Japan and this effectively marked the end
of The Dooleys as a recording act. Distributed By IDS.
