Relax Records was an Independent label. It managed five singles. It issued singles in LAX-0 numerical series. Cannon and Ball are a comedy double act consisting of Tommy Cannon (Thomas Derbyshire) and Bobby Ball (Robert Harper). The duo met in the early 1960s while working as welders in Oldham, Lancashire. They started out as singers working the pubs and clubs of Lancashire and switched to comedy after being told comics earned an extra £3 a night. The Krankies are a Scottish comedy duo that enjoyed success as a cabaret act in the 1970s and on television in the 1980s, featuring in their own television shows and releasing their own music single. They have regularly appeared in pantomime. The duo comprises wife Janette Tough and her husband Ian. As the Krankies they portray schoolboy Wee Jimmy Krankie (Janette), and Jimmy's father (Ian), though in their comedy act they also portray other characters. Beginning in the 1990s, they regularly appeared as The Krankies in episodes of the BBC comedy series French and Saunders. James Cameron "Jim" Davidson, OBE (born 13 December 1953) is an English comedian and television host. He had his highest profile for his television roles on Big Break and as the host of The Generation Game as well as a successful career as a stand-up comedian and developing adult pantomime shows such as Boobs in the Wood and SINderella both of which have played to sell-out audiences. Despite early recognition and winning many awards throughout his long career, Davidson has become known for his use of jokes about ethnic minorities (his mock Jamaican accent widely known as comedy character Chalkie White being a Davidson trademark), homosexuals (starting a feud with openly gay celebrity Brian Dowling on TV's Hell's Kitchen) and disabled people (Davidson refused to go on stage in Plymouth because he objected to wheelchair users in the front row) in his stand-up act, which has made him a subject of negative media coverage and frequent criticism.
