Rune Records was an Independent label. It managed three singles. It issued singles in CAST-00 numerical series. Hobbies of Today was a New Wave band from Mexborough, South Yorkshire. Formed in March 1977, the band went through a number of lineup changes before disbanding in the early 1990s. Reformed in 2016. Band Members were Kevin Hobbi (guitar, vocals), Stuart Holie (bass), David Exciting (drums), Rod Mason (saxophone). Pagan Beau was the alternate Flower Punk character of Kevin Hobbi. The Hobbies Of Today were an Indie Sheffield band and were well known locally being regulars on the circuit . Pagan Beau would often do a solo set before the Hobbies of Today for whom Hobbi composed and played guitar for. Distributed By Rune Records.
