SWEET FOLK AND COUNTRY
RECORDS
Independent
label: Sweet Folk and Country started life as
Sweet Folk All. It was run by Joe Stead, and it specialised in
recordings of British Folk and Country & Western bands, though it put out at
least one Jazz album, by Max Collie. It issued records from 1973
onwards, and survived into the early '80s. Most of its products were
albums, but it released a few EPs and at least one single, which
sold in limited quantities, Numbering appears to have been in an SFC-000
series for EPs and an SFC-1000 series for
singles. Distributed By JSU.
