And All Because The Lady Loves was a Duo formed by Rachel Collins and Nicola (Nicky) Rushton in Newcastle upon Tyne in the late 1980‘s. Generally, Rachel played electric bass guitar whilst Nicky played acoustic guitar (with a pick-up in the guitar body) and occasionally keyboards. Both girls sang. The band‘s name was taken from a catch phrase used in a series of advertisements for Cadbury’s 'Milk Tray' chocolates shown widely on British TV in the 1970‘s and 80‘s.
