Independent label: The Mobile Suit Corporation Records Was Set Up By David Claridge Under The Phonogram Banner In 1982 With The Intention Of Providing An Outlet For Music From Other Cultures. Claridge Launched The Indian Themed Band Monsoon With Their First Release 'Ever So Lonely' Followed By Several Other Singles And Their First Album. The Labels Second Single Release Was By Vicious Pink Phenomena Entitled 'My Private Tokyo' (Dave Ball From Soft Cell Was Involved In The Studio Recordings). German Band Trio Was Released On The Corp Label With Their First Single 'Da Da Da' Which Rose To No 2 In The Uk Charts. Tokyo Mobile Music Was A Compilation Album Of Japanese Musicians Interspersed With Abstract Sounds Claridge Recorded In Tokyo. Distributed By Phonogram Records.
