label: Phoenix Record and Filmworks was a UK based
metal label founded by members of the band Holocaust. Phoenix was actually the
name of the record shop where vocalist Gary Lettice worked. Holocaust is a heavy
metal band which was once based in Edinburgh, Scotland. Founded in 1977 while
still at high school, the original lineup, featuring guitarists John Mortimer
and Ed Dudley, vocalist Gary Lettice, bassist Robin Begg and drummer Nick
Brockie. Distributed By Phoenix Record.
